Calabash Summer Concert Series 2025

The Calabash Summer Concert Series 2025 is here! This beloved summer tradition is back for its 11th season, bringing live music, delicious local food, and good times to beautiful Calabash, NC. With eight exciting concerts scheduled, it’s time to mark your calendar and get ready for another fun-filled summer in our coastal community.

At Kingfish Bay, we’re proud to be part of what makes Calabash such a special place to live. As a diamond-level sponsor, we encourage everyone to enjoy this free family event on select summer Tuesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. Grab your lawn chairs, bring your friends and family, and get ready to enjoy some of the best entertainment the Southeast has to offer.

And don’t forget: the fun doesn’t stop with the music! Local favorites like Kona Ice, Dixieland Kettle Corn, and those famous Calabash hot dogs will be available for purchase at each event. It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer in the Carolinas.

June 3: Band of Oz

Formed in 1967, Band of Oz is one of the Southeast’s most successful beach music bands, performing energetic shows that have delighted fans for decades. Their blend of beach and classic rock music is sure to kick off the concert series with a bang.

June 17: Chocolate Chip & Company

A fan favorite returning to the series, Chocolate Chip & Company brings an electrifying blend of R&B, soul, rock, and more. Their high-energy shows always leave the audience wanting more.

June 24: Too Much Sylvia

Too Much Sylvia is a high-energy band from Charlotte, NC, known for their dynamic covers ranging from classic rock to hip hop. Their lively performances always get the crowd moving and bring a fun vibe to the summer concert series.

July 1: The Extraordinaires

Formed in 2003, The Extraordinaires bring a versatile mix of rhythm and blues, classic rock, and more. This talented group from Hickory, NC, is known for their energetic performances and crowd-pleasing style.

July 15: Thomas Road Band

Thomas Road Band brings a fresh, soulful sound that blends blues, rock, and funk. Their engaging performances and heartfelt music make them a highlight of the concert series.

July 22: The Main Event Band

The Main Event Band is known for delivering high-energy performances filled with rock, pop, and classic hits. Their vibrant sound and engaging stage presence make every show a memorable experience.

July 29: J.B And The Get Down Browns

J.B. And The Get Down Browns bring a powerful mix of soul, blues, and funk that gets the crowd moving every time. Their energetic performances are a perfect way to keep the summer vibes going strong.

August 5: The Tonez

This eight-piece party band delivers top-notch vocals, lively horns, and nonstop entertainment with a mix of classic hits, beach music, and more. The Tonez know how to keep the energy high and the crowd dancing.

  • Our experience at Kingfish Bay has been amazing! We are fish out of water (no pun intended) when it comes to new construction and living far away while our home is being constructed has been scary and exciting at the same time, but with Stephanie Spicer (Sales Center Realtor) taking care of us and keeping us updated with information and photos along the way it has been so much less scary and so much more exciting! Stephanie answered all of our questions and she honestly was just as excited as we were to see the progress along the way. We are almost at the end of construction and the whole team at Kingfish has been so accommodating and we couldn’t be happier!

  • We have recently purchased a home in Kingfish Bay and have been thrilled with the whole process. Our journey started in September when we met Sharon, a member of the old sales staff, she was wonderful and helped us find the right floor plan to fit our needs. Tamara provided exceptional support in turning our dreams into a reality at the design center and both Jesse and Sam have always been on point during the construction phase. The new Sales team has also gone above and beyond, I have been in contact with all of them and they have always provided assistance for everything but sales (as we had already purchased our house). Stephanie has been an invaluable resource, providing information about the progress of our build, taking pictures and assisting us in the transition phase from Northern Virginia to Southern NC. I understand sometimes miscommunication can happen in any industry, but I feel the last few reviews were unfair to say the least. Yes, you may pay a premium to live in Kingfish Bay, but that’s everywhere you want to live on the water. The residents we have met have been friendly, the amenities at KFB are outstanding if you enjoy the water and water sports, the access to the marina is perfect, and the staff has accommodated all our needs, I can’t express how much that means to us and how much we appreciate their efforts.

  • We wanted to share our experience in building our home with Kingfish Bay Development.
    We really enjoyed the process of selecting our home. Sharon in sales listened to us which helped us find the best plan and lot for our needs. She also walked us through the house during construction. She is very customer friendly and supportive.
    Tamara the director of design and selections was great to work with in the design phase providing choices and advice. We were impressed with the way they all turned out. She designed one of our favorites which is a wine bar.
    The KFB construction team led by Ty and Jesse were always available for questions. They also worked closely with us to identify areas of concern which were few as well as resolved our punch list. The communication was open and collaborative.
    We have built two homes with KFB which could have been very stressful! Thanks to the trusted team of KFB this stress was manageable and the process exciting
